President

Katie works at Credit Suisse in project management and calls East London her home. She moved to London in April ‘16 from Hong Kong, where she served on the UChicago Alumni Board as Communications Chair. She started a monthly pub gathering for UChicago alumni when she first moved to London.

As President of the UK Alumni Club, Katie’s passion is helping local alumni connect with each other and the alumni club. Please reach out to her if you have ideas for events or would like to get more involved!

Katie graduated from the University of Chicago in 2013 with a BA in Economics and minor in Human Rights. In her spare time, Katie enjoys hiking, wine and travel.

Vice President

Tejas works at Box, supporting the European business as Strategy & Operations Chief of Staff. Before moving to London, his worked in the analytics team for 1.5 years in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to joining Box, Tejas worked in Chicago as a trader. He grew up in India and Michigan.

As Vice President of the UK Alumni Club, Tejas is enthusiastic about community building and connecting alumni through fun, social events.

Tejas graduated from the University of Chicago in 2014 with a BA in Economics. In his free time, you’ll most likely find Tejas on a Ryanair flight to somewhere in Europe or enjoying a pint or two in Shoreditch.
 

kristinaKristina Tzaneff-Milakovic, AB’92, MBA’04
Booth Liaison

Kristina is an Executive Director at Viridian Offices, LLC working on global real estate investment, acquisition, development and sales.  As a founding member of Viridian, Kristina successfully developed the real estate company by investing and managing funds into residential and commercial properties over the past 12 years.  Prior to founding Viridian, Kristina was a Vice President in Debt Capital Markets at ING Barings, managing primary debt offerings as part of the Fixed Income Syndicate Desk and High Yield Teams. She was also a Managing Partner at IKON Investments & Asset Management.  Kristina started her career as part of the Merchant Banking practice of Barents Group (a subsidiary of KPMG). She moved to London from the Barents Group to continue her work of economic development at Salomon Brothers as part of the Fixed Income Capital Markets team covering CEE & FSU.  

As Booth Liaison of the UK Alumni Club, Kristina coordinates joint events for Booth and UChicago alumni to facilitate networking across programs.

Kristina graduated from the University of Chicago in 1992 with a BA in Economics and received her MBA, cum laude, from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2004.

Programming Chair

Milica is a Director and Portfolio Manager in the Multi-Asset Strategies team at BlackRock. Prior to joining BlackRock, Milica was a Portfolio Manager and a member of J.P. Morgan's CIO team based in London. Before joining J.P. Morgan, she was a Portfolio Manager at Barclays, where she ran US and Japan multi-manager equity funds. She started her career at AllianceBernstein in the US.  

As Programming Chair of the UK Alumni Club, Milica plans events for the UChicago community, organizing professional events for career development and networking opportunities together with Booth alumni.

Milica graduated from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2011 with an MBA in Finance, Economics, Econometrics and Statistics and received her BA, cum laude, from Austin College in 2004.

Programming Chair

Patrick is the Founder/CEO of Knightsbridge Ventures, a private equity real estate fund based in Austin/London.  Knightsbridge Ventures raises capital from UHNW and Institutional US investors to co-invest in off-market, value-add private property investments in Madrid, Lisbon, London, and Texas. Patrick has 18 years’ experience in property development and real estate portfolio management, overcoming the dotcom crash, 9/11, and the 2008 financial crisis. His prior experiences include a 12-year civilian career in orthopedic surgery and a 21-year military career with the US Army/Air Force. Patrick is a Freeman of the City of London Guild of Freemen, and a Freeman of the City of London Guild of Entrepreneurs.  He is an active member of Homehouse, the RAF Club, the City Livery Club, the Texas Exes alumni association.

As Programming Chair of the UK Alumni Club, Patrick plans events for the UChicago community, organizing social events to bring the college and Booth alumni together.

Patrick graduated from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2016 with a MBA in Private Equity Finance. He has a BA in Political Science / Latin American Studies from the University of Texas and a Medical Degree (MS) from University of Nebraska Medical Center.

Communications Chair

Jenny works at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, an international financial institution focused on investing in developing countries. Prior to joining the EBRD, she worked at Citibank Korea in the credit cards business, digital sales and marketing, and business transformation strategy projects for wealth management.

As Communications Chair of the UK Alumni Club, Jenny manages community outreach via social media, UChicago newsletters and UK website maintenance. Check out our postings on Facebook for upcoming events!

Jenny graduated from the University of Chicago in 2012 with a BA in Economics. She is studying for Masters in Finance at the London Business School. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming, sailing, and travel.
